You become a AFO straight away You can be posted to Whitehall as a AFO in the mod police straight after training they just look more rugged with alll the extra gear. Met police do a lot more 1-1 dealing with the public more than the mod. Mod primarily patrol nuclear sites across uk mainland and a posting just so happens to be Whitehall. Most of the cameramen out there are great people. Very respectful to the guards. Many of them have captured incidents that have been used by the police for some of the egregious offenders in investigations and court. While most nations that had troops in Afghanistan produced similar series, I realy like this one. It try to paint the larger picture while not shying away from the reality of war or the experience of the soldiers. The media vaccum on the issue was also real in Sweden at the time. The average reaction to news of soldiers dying was something along the lines of "We have trooops in Afghanistan?"

I saw the original post a couple of weeks ago. The problem is kids just don’t have any respect and they’re not scared of the police anymore because of their “human rights”. I think because we don’t know who is in our country any more that the soldiers should be more protected from idiots like this boy, maybe stop the public from getting so close. It’s lovely to see the soldiers, I watch a few videos, but this isn’t an isolated occurrence, I’ve seen others, maybe not quite as disrespectful, but I fear that one day someone will go too far! I bet the soldier wishes she could have swung her sword and stopped the little toe rag for good. Respect should be taught in schools if the parents won’t teach the kids. 🇬🇧

The older gentleman at 2:50 now is in charge of one of the "Soldathem", a place where conscripts can go in their off-time to relax, buy some candy, play some board games or just play guitar and sleep on a couch.
